Embolden is excited to bring together a select group of community foundation professionals for a six-week program designed to help staff build stronger relationships, deepen engagement, and generate more Meaningful Conversations!
At Embolden, we define a Meaningful Conversation as any interaction with a member of the community foundation's key audiences that makes it more likely that the person will become more involved and deepen their relationship with the community foundation.
Meaningful Conversations don't have to happen during formal meetings or lunches. Some of the best conversations happen when you least expect them! The goal is to recognize and make the most of everyday opportunities.
Many community foundation professionals bring experience in traditional fundraising, financial services, or other relationship-focused roles. Those skills are valuable, but community foundation work is a little different! Meaningful Conversations aren't always about securing the next gift. They're about understanding what matters to people, helping them achieve their charitable goals, and building relationships that deepen over time. This program helps participants apply their existing skills in the community foundation setting.
Ideal participant
This program is designed for community foundation professionals who work in development, donor services, stewardship, or other relationship-focused roles. It's a great fit for staff at any experience level, including those transitioning from traditional fundraising, financial services, or other fields.
It's also an excellent way to bring new team members up to speed at community foundations that have already completed Embolden's organization-wide Meaningful Conversations consulting program.
