Cohort Program FAQs and Pricing
When are the programs offered?
Programs are offered three times per year. Each program runs for six weeks. Exact session dates and times will be determined based on participants' schedules.
Fall 2026: Begins the week of September 14
Winter 2027: Begins the week of January 18
Spring 2027: Begins the week of April 19
Fall 2027: Begins the week of September 13
What is the time commitment?
Embolden will facilitate a one-hour Zoom session each week for six weeks with all cohort participants. You'll also have one dedicated one-hour Zoom meeting with the Embolden team. Feel free to invite colleagues to join your one-on-one session so you can learn and plan together.
How much does it cost to participate?
For community foundations that subscribe to Embolden's Premium Content and Training Subscription, the tuition per participant is $1850 (compared to a list price of $3850 per participant).
How do I register?
Please contact Kelli Cavey at kcavey@embolden.com directly to let us know you are interested. We will be identifying exact dates and times for the sessions based on each participant’s availability.
How should we budget for the tuition?
If you are a Premium Content and Training subscriber, you have unlimited $2000 credits toward cohort programs. This means the tuition for each of your staff members is $1,850.
If your community foundation is not yet a Premium Content and Training subscriber, you can upgrade your existing content subscription to access your unlimited $2000 credits toward Embolden's cohort programs. For example:
If you do not currently subscribe to any of Embolden's content, you'd pay $2450 for Embolden's one-year Premium Subscription plus $1850 for each cohort participant.
If you already subscribe to one Embolden newsletter ($450 per year), you'd pay $2000 to upgrade to Embolden's one-year Premium Subscription, then $1850 per cohort participant.
If you already subscribe to two Embolden newsletters ($900 per year), you'd pay $1550 to upgrade to Embolden's one-year Premium Subscription, then $1850 per cohort participant.
If you already subscribe to three Embolden newsletters ($1350 per year), you'd pay $1100 to upgrade to Embolden's one-year Premium Subscription, then $1850 per cohort participant.
Many community foundations have opted to divide the subscription cost and tuition across budget categories. For example:
Premium Content and Training Subscription: $2450 for a full year (1/2 from marketing budget, 1/2 from professional development budget)
Professional Advisor Intensive Cohort Program: $1850 (development budget)
Nonprofit Relations Best Practices Cohort Program: $1850 (grant from operating endowment or key donor)
Is there a limit to the number of cohort programs our community foundation can join?
No--there is no limit! For example, a community foundation may enroll a staff member in each of the four cohort programs. Please forward this email to any interested team members.
