Dreaming of spring--and a clean desk?

It’s late January, and that means it’s cold! It also means we’re inside, staring at the piles of papers and to-do lists that require our attention. For many community foundations, that to-do list includes writing content to engage professional advisors, fundholders, and nonprofits. But who has the time to write content?

Happily, more than 150 community foundations are Embolden clients. These community foundations will receive brand new, easy-to-use, cut-and-paste content in their email inboxes tomorrow. Our goal at Embolden is to make content production as painless as possible. To that end, on the first day of every month, we send out timely, well-researched material to our community foundation subscribers, who in turn edit, customize, and deploy that content into their newsletters, social posts, and blogs to engage professional advisors, donors, and nonprofits.

The content dropping tomorrow includes elements of spring cleaning, or, more accurately, “pre-spring cleaning.” If you are like me, you are already feeling slightly overwhelmed with the paperwork required to get ready for tax time, let alone the paperwork left over from a busy year end.

Community foundation donors and fundholders are feeling the pinch, too, as are the attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors who serve those clients. But, for people who have organized their giving through funds at the community foundation, life is a lot easier right now. A donor-advised fund, for example, can make it a breeze to keep track of tax deductions and support for favorite charities.

If your community foundation is already an Embolden client, watch your inbox tomorrow for your February content. If you’re not yet working with our team, please reach out! We’d love to send you samples of the content and jump on a quick call to explore whether Embolden’s content tools might be a good fit for you and your team.

Happy (almost) spring cleaning!
