Emily Prauner

Emily Prauner is a consultant on the Embolden team, focused on Embolden’s Emboldini division.

Emily has spent 15 years in the nonprofit sector developing programs, building community rapport, and cultivating financial support. She has raised funds for operations, programs, and capital projects, and has a deep understanding that giving is inherently personal.

As Director of Development and Community Engagement at Fontenelle Forest, Emily oversaw fundraising and marketing strategies to drive public engagement. Through authentic relationships, Emily stewarded individuals, foundations, and corporate partners via major gifts, planned giving vehicles, grants, event sponsorships, and volunteer management. She also developed earned revenue strategies for membership growth, rental and gift shop sales, and supported program evaluation efforts.

Prior to joining Fontenelle Forest, Emily served as a philanthropic advisor with the Omaha Community Foundation. In this role, she connected philanthropists with organizations and projects they care about most, while also working with professional advisors in the wealth management, tax, and estate planning fields.

Emily received a bachelor’s degree in public communication as well as a master’s in public administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management. She earned her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation through the American College of Financial Services in 2021 and continues to support the Omaha CAP study group program as a content committee member. Emily also facilitates several sessions in the Certificate in Fundraising Management program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
